Type of laser eye surgery you will receive

Initially you will have a thorough evaluation of your eyes to find out whether you are a suitable candidate for surgery. You have to be at least 18 years old and have a stable prescription for glasses or contact lenses. Our doctors will discuss a suitable treatment plan during your consultation session. You will also be informed about the kind of laser eye surgery you need.

What happens on the day for performing laser eye surgery?

The eye doctor will recheck the investigations including your eye scans and confirm your treatment plan. You will be given anaesthetic eye drops in the eye to be treated and specific instructions to follow, based on your treatment plan. Laser eye surgery takes just a few seconds. And the whole surgery few minutes you may have to wear a protective contact lens on the eye afterwards. You will be asked to use eye drops for a few weeks after surgery. A follow-up appointment with your surgeon will also be arranged before you leave the clinic.
