An ICL is made from Collamer, which is a biocompatible material. It is a combination of collagen and polymer which is innert. This means it does not cause any side effects or discomfort for patients.

What to expect during ICL surgery

Patients ready for ICLs are usually given a local anaesthetic to make the eyes numb throughout the procedure. You may also be sedated for added relaxation on the day of the operation.

A less than 3mm incision will be made on the cornea by your surgeon. The ICL which is initially folded will be inserted into your eye where it will gently unfold in the front part of the eye. We offer finance options and credit payment without interest

Our finance options come with a 0% interest rate. This helps the payment for surgery to be spread over 12 months.
