Dr Amir Mani is an experienced ophthalmic surgeon specialising in refractive eye surgery. He has performed more than 20,000 ophthalmic procedures, including LASIK, LASEK, PRK, Femto Cataract, RLE, Lens ICL and Phakic IOL surgery. He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is a fully trained ophthalmologist who has undergone additional specialist training in refractive surgery and has obtained certification in laser refractive surgery from The Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London.
Working extensively in the UK and abroad, including National University Hospital of Singapore and University of British Columbia in Vancouver, he then had a second fellowship training at reputed Gimbel Eye Centre in Canada where he gained invaluable experience in various types of laser and intra-ocular refractive laser and lens surgeries.
Mr Amir Mani has been involved in many research programmes and audit projects which allow him to stay abreast of all developments in the advancing field of ophthalmology. His dedication to his profession and patients is evident from his clinical experience. He has presented at major international conferences on refractive surgery and attended numerous meetings and courses such as European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) and British Society of Refractive and Cataract Surgery (BSRS) Annual Scientific Congress.

I had a great experience performing my laser eye surgery at Optimal Vision Clinic. All the staffs are very helpful, co-operative and supportive throughout the treatment process. My husband had been experiencing discomfort in his left eye since July and was seen by various doctors/consultants even at the Queen Mary’s hospital but no abnormalities were found.
